2020 WIN Impact Retreat

Date TBD - Virtual Event
WIN Annual Impact Retreat - COVID-19 Update
We want to take this opportunity to address current concerns around developments with the COVID-19 virus. We understand that this is a sensitive and swiftly moving issue that is evolving and we stand ready to act accordingly. The health and safety of our community are of the utmost importance to us.
As such, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our June 6th Retreat in Washington, DC and our June 20th Retreat at Stanford. If you have already registered for these retreats, we appreciate your early support. Refunds will be issued to you in the coming weeks.
However, we also believe this is an essential time for us to stay connected and that now more than ever we need to have the courage to lead in these uncertain times. In place of the two in-person retreats, we will be offering a shorter virtual gathering with the same focus of developing our own brave leadership and learning how to cultivate more courageous cultures (based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown). We hope you will join us online. Watch for more information and details in future newsletters.

2020 Impact Retreat Theme - BRAVE Leadership and Courageous Cultures
The world is desperate for brave leaders; leaders who are not silent about hard things, who ask the right questions, who are self-aware enough to lead from their hearts and not from fear.
Based on the latest research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program, what Brené refers to as a “skill-based" playbook for leaders. The most significant finding from this work is that courage is not an inherent quality, but rather it is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.
